Thirty-six hours after arriving at the hospital, Conor and I were given the A-OK to head home. Somehow someone decided we were capable of taking the baby with us--it definitely felt like they made a mistake allowing us to carry this tiny person home. It took us about 20 minutes to figure out how to strap Beatrice in the carseat and then we drove about 10 mph the whole way back to the house. We were so happy to get out of the hospital and get back to our own house to start life on our own as a happy little family of three.
